THE THIRD DAY OF THE TIBETAN PICNIC

The third and last day is the wildest. Around 3:00 pm the tent dismantling process begins, and along with that, the water fights, pitting men against women.

The old water tank, which sits on a blue camel, the little all terrain truck used by locals,is fought over for control as a strategic supply base, and water in pans or bottles is distributed to the foot soldiers. No one is spared, and the whole area resonates with shrieks of laughter.
