Spring and Baby Animals

Spring may be bare and rather chilly in Ritoma, but the coming of new life is a great source of joy. Children look forward to the moment when the lambs and yeko (baby yaks) fill their yards and play on the pasture nearby. There are also the foals, who stay close to their mothers and the winter born mastiff puppies, which the children try to keep as long as possible.

Chic Quill is the essential spring scarf; a touch of color on a monochrome pasture it keeps one protected from the cool breeze, while carrying the promise of warmer weather to come.
