The Colour Green

On the Tibetan Plateau, green is the colour of summer. It is nature at its most dynamic, when the hills and pastures in nomadic areas turn an intense parrot green. Spring brings a lighter, subtler green, and autumn gradually mixes in hints of yellow that grow in strength as the days shorten. The forest, from spring through summer, provides deep, penetrating shades, tempered by the leaves of deciduous trees that add an emerald contrast.

Green is also the color of water, the blue green of running rivers, the deep greens of high lakes when they are free from the ice of winter.

Norlha has integrated the richness of pasture and river in its range of greens, from early spring to fall.
