JUNKO KIOKA

Junko Kioka has always liked making things and has been knitting since she was a child. After graduating high school, she went to Tokyo to study a traditional Japanese embroidery called Nihon Shishuu 日本刺繍, eventually getting married and starting her own family.

Always curious, Kioka has been a crafter her whole life. Kioka loves to try new things, experimenting and teaching herself through books.

She hardly ever buys things she wants, rather making them herself - even rings and accessories. As described by the photographer, Kioka can be described as having a beautiful personality. She is happy and quiet but with an outgoing character.
